Apes Poem by Sotirios Skoufis

Apes

God
does he exist?
No he doesn't
We're all apes

We don't like grapes
Neither wine
It just all happened
By coincidence

Science agrees
Or disagrees
Whatever
God doesn't exist

He is not hot
Not like the sun
You're not his Hon
either his son

Or his daughter
U' re going to slaughter
Like sheep
Who believe

But who cares
Life's just a joyrney
Without God
You came from the water

You were a fish
Which now is your dish
We're all apes
With a mind

And understanding
And speech
Walking on 2 feet
God doesn't exist

We drive cars
And boats
Fly planes
But still apes

From the big bang
All the same
Ants, birds
Rhinos, fish

Apes
Of tomorrow
With no sorrow
No grieve

Merciless creatures
Who kill
Can't produce
Nothing but hate

sometimes?
Does he also take over?
Can u feel it?
Not special

No king
No queen
No prince
Just ape

How humble
God doesn't exist
I'm sure he likes it
More then priests

Who molest kids
These are the true apes
From Hell
He likes it

Just be a good ape
From time 2 time
Do sit down and eat a grape
With him

Drink some wine
He'll make u feel fine
U little ape
From the sea

Try to feel free
