Apology Poem by Day Williams

Apology

If men remain whose feelings I have hurt
Or women bear a memory that wrong
Arose from me, that I was mean or curt,
Or showed them places they did not belong;
I'm sorry for the wrongs I know I've done,
And I shall pray and work to make it right,
So we can be restored and they'll forgive.
True healing comes from Jesus Christ, God's Son:
At best, I am a vessel for His light,
A servant to the Lord and all who live.
