Appointed

Talked with them
Of Iran

One mentioned name of shah
And the way Reza Shah
Was removed
To exile.

By forces of abroad
They gave throne to his son…

I recalled the ones that
I met them, saw somehow.

In early seventies
I was sent to Oman
Liaison officer of Iran
For the war in Dhofar…

-Yemen's war that goes on even now…

We settled in Matrah
I flew; organised…

Qaboos was new King
The father's vacation turned to a coup de tat
Puppeteer was London…
Forced old man
Remain in that place; Pakistan!


Qatar's sheikh also same…

Such actions round the world
Plough and sow the seeds
Of dislike to terror…

Everyone knows ISIS
Nobody talks of these…

With my hosts I remained a tight lips;
They are young, do not know!
