April Fools Day Poem by Alon Calinao Dy

April Fools Day

All the calendar records I've checked
I've found no reason to be junkies
Bone headed, jerky, freak and witless
Those people have to be blocked
Better to be a dummy and not to hullabaloo
Month of April is just a part of the year
There is nothing different
A time to pick up some bamboo
And start doing or learning works of art
Stay home and be safe without any fear
Do some household chores
Or go to different bookstores
Read and read so that every brain cell
In your mind would start to grow well.
