Stop scrolling reels, start scrolling through the scriptures bright,
Don't look down to your gadgets, lift your sight to heaven's light.
Let saints and angels be your friends, your companions true,
Not the people you just know through apps, a worldly view.
Don't adore the heroes in film and series, so grand and fine,
Rather, the solo Hero, Christ alone, who humbled Himself to make you divine.
He became human, just to make you holy, a gift so pure and bright,
In His love and mercy, your spirit's path will shine with heavenly light.
Do not be mere lovers of earthly food, consumed by base desire,
But long exclusively for heavenly nourishment, a celestial fire.
In the Eucharist, you find the true Bread of Life, a gift sublime,
For you, Christ was placed in a humble manger, in a sacred, holy time.
Do not waste your precious time in idle texting on the keyboard's clatter,
Instead, direct your focus toward the eternal, where true fulfillment will matter.
Don't get struck in digital noise, a chaotic, endless swirl,
Rather, find peace under the wings of the Holy Spirit, a gentle, heavenly curl.
Do not seek inspiration from the fleeting trends of Generation Z,
But draw your motivation from the triumphant Church of Saints in heaven, so free.
Let the glorious communion of holy Saints be your exemplar and guide,
And never forget, you are a humble member of the Church Militant, steadfast by your side.
Let liturgical bells ring loud, let them be your zeal,
Drown out those notification sounds, let your Christ‑zeal feel real.
Don't let pings and dings kill your holy fire bright,
Keep your focus on the Spirit, and your faith will shine light.
