Art Poem by Aimee Brimson

Art

As my art teacher you were from the start
Line, shape and colour are the elements of art.
But how would you paint yourself?
With deep solid strokes or lightly soft brush?
Quickly filling in the lines,
Taking your time,
Would paint yourself in vibrant colours,
Or in black and white?
Techniques are important
That's what you taught.
What I'm trying to say is…
Thank you for my art!
