Privacy Poem by Aimee Brimson

Privacy

Rating: 4.0

You take my name,
You take my card
but soon you'll own me.
Though respect my privacy
I'll tell you a little something
Which may seem like a lot
Though unfortunately it's not.

My information is everywhere
Internet, notes and documents
But either way I'm still screwed.
As I'm like an open book
That you can just type my name,
I'll be caught on your hook.

With social media growing so fast
Filling the Internet like dash
My life, I live is losing privacy
For what secrets have now been told.
Privacy is no longer private
But respect my privacy
For which that will be appreciated,
As social media... forever holds.
