Aimee Brimson Poems

We hear you;
We see the knife you hold,
Lurking in the shadows to be told.
Outside the window,
...

Back to our sports; were all wearing shorts.
On the courts we are,
Bouncing the balls.
...

My teacher's smile goes on for a mile;
It's like a massive tile.
She is outstanding and hardworking indeed
Such a remarkable women.
...

You may be down but you're bright
So what you doing with your night?
Because you're too young to ruin your life.
You still have more to achieve.
...

In home comforts... we all sit here
Chatting, giggling through the storm that's near.
Ignoring things which doesn't matter
At once it comes and drops it bomb
...

You take my name,
You take my card
but soon you'll own me.
Though respect my privacy

Judgeful, we may be
Acting all innocent and sweet
Munching on those chewy chewing biscuits,
Moonlight shining through the window bright
...

Sat on the field,
Where the drums are going.
All in our houses,
Shouting, screaming and smiling,
...

Comes the time of teachers ties
Of walking through the midnight skies.
Mighty lifes we all walk through
Ingesting things we never knew.
...

Great fortunate kindness you've gave me
Becoming apart of your wonderful life.
I couldn't ask for anything more
For all you've done for me.
...

My family is not all blood.
Though I do not care
As we have a strong bond
For that we all share.
...

Life has changed with you around
as we no longer are bound.
Clowns we are together, but that
doesn't really matter
...

I've done it again
I've tear my soul apart.
Why do I keep doing this?
It's stupid. I'm stupid.
...

There's sadness in the darkness
It's quiet at night.
Walking down the middle of the road lonely, cold and hungry
Haven't ate for days now, feeling empty inside.
...

Young girl don't cry.
She sat alone on her own
Scared of what to do.
She doesn't make a peep'
...

16.

As my art teacher you were from the start
Line, shape and colour are the elements of art.
But how would you paint yourself?
With deep solid strokes or lightly soft brush?
...

Manipulative multiplication
Amazing angles
Tangy trigonometry
Hissing histograms
...

18.

Taste bursting flavours
Chopping on the work tops
Peeling at the sink
We're sweating by the cooker.
...

We can put down roots
Through-out all our shoots.

Our night has arrived
...

20.

Thank you for the knowledge
For what really matters in religious reality,
Sharing the attitudes of life in normality.
The understanding now of medical ethics

Silverware Knives

We hear you;
We see the knife you hold,
Lurking in the shadows to be told.
Outside the window,
We saw them be stabbed
you've got no apology no doubt for what you've done.
Is that the wrong description?
Taking shelter in the shadows like a hostile militant.
No other lives, you could of surfeit.
No theory, religious beliefs
Could save their life, for there they sat.
You held the knife in your pocket
In once an innocent hand
But then you raised the blade
And pierced the skin with no aid.
Led quite bare, you walked away
Never learning your silverware.
