As A Leaf Poem by Shea Anderson

As A Leaf

As I gave you my love without cease. As a fool I continued to love you. As you never saw what was right in front of you, my love, only for you, blew as a leaf in the wind. As once that leaf was full of life. Once that leaf hung with others of it's kind to make a tree beautiful to gaze apon. As love. seasons change. As now the leaf has no where else to go. As some things we are better left without. As with doubt I am still with you. As someone alone. As that leaf my love has no where else to go.
