The sun wakes up, a sleepy eye,
Another day begins, a soft goodbye
To dreams that fade with morning light,
Just tasks to do, with all my might.
A gentle smile, a whispered word,
A feeling deep, a song unheard.
It grows and blooms, a tender vine,
This precious thing, they call it mine.
But sometimes clouds begin to creep,
Promises break, secrets we keep.
A heavy sigh, a tear that falls,
When hope retreats behind these walls.
The world keeps turning, day by day,
With joys to find, and blues to sway.
Life's simple truth, both sweet and sour,
Love's bright sunshine, a fading flower.
