As I Lay Poem by William Breland

As I Lay

Rating: 5.0

As I lay here, thinking of you, my mind is figuring, on what I should do. About this silence, that eats at my heart, not hearing from your voice, is tearing me apart. piece by piece, it drifts away, slowly fading, by the day. My love is stronger, than my mind, for I am carring, gentle and kind. But there is this ache, deep down inside, the tears are falling, and I cannot hide. The spilling emotions, upon the floor, oh take me away, from this suffering shore. When the waves, come crashing down, it's not the same, without you around. So empty I feel, and low esteam, the wallering thoughts, make me scream. I call your name, through my sigh, but there is no answer, and I start to cry. Perhaps you feel, the same way too, not knowing where to go, or what you should do. Lost we are, two hearts so kind, a love like ours, is so hard to find. So searching I am, on what I feel, and I can't deny you, my love is real. As I Lay..
