As I Layed In Silence Poem by amanda siecinski

As I Layed In Silence

The night is calm
theres a chill in the air
your body heat is just the right tempature to keep
me from having the chills
Its dark but your face is so clear
and your touch is so warm
we were so unexpected
not a clue that we would happen
the walk was beautiful
your arms, i couldnt get over how much i love
when they're around me
i feel safer somehow knowing you wanted me
as much as i wanted you
i dont know how to explain it but i do
i was so nervous
my hands were trembling
all of the sudden it went away
your lips seemed to be my savior
your hands my god

Its no longer cold
there is no chill
the heat from our bodies is overwhelming
your touch always leaves me wanting more
and i wanted to be irresistably desired by you at that moment
the lips you kiss me with are the kind i love to taste

as you whipseerd in my ear i layed in silence
when really i wanted to roll over and whisper back
'you know your nothing short of amazing'
