She wakes up wiht a smile
cuz she was dreaming of that guy
not knowing that she'll find out
hes nothing but a lie

Shes up, and dressed, and ready
takes a second to make her bed
alwasy with a smile
and not a worry in her head

She slowly walks into the world
unaware of whats to come
believeing only in life and love
its her mother that comes from

She went the weekend wiht out seeing him
so when hes near it'll be a sight
she saw him standing at the corner
her smile was just so bright

making her way in his direction
she suddenly stops in her tracks
he's kissing some other girl
and theres somehting that she lacks

Stunned to see what she saw
she quickly turned away
not knowing how to feel
she whispered everythign will be okai

she asked herself the question
is she alot prettier then me?
the answer was so unclear
she has no idea what it could be

she thought in her mind HE LIKED HER
but she COULDNT be more WRONG
he blew her off so BAD
and led her on so LONG

She got over him so quickly
she didnt think she would
not a look or a glance his way
she did everythign she could

she moved on to bigger and better things
he lost somehting real great
and the day he told her he wants her back
she told him its to late.
