As Lonely As I Am

Tired of waiting for the day to come
When civility is a welcome friend
A home where anger is not a key
To answering feelings that you have for me.
To keep me trapped is not a way
For us to gain another day.
As lonely as I am
There is not much to say
Except I am waiting for another day
