As Long As You'Re Happy Poem by Nameless Dreamer

As Long As You'Re Happy

Remember all the laughs we shared
Remember all the tears
Remember all the jokes we sang
Remember my one fear

Well don't worry anymore
Now that I'm out of your life
You're living happily ever after
And it's just me and my knife

She's beautiful
And she's lucky to have you
But after thinking you cared
I just can't believe it's true

I sure remember
When you said goodbye
And to this day
I don't know why

It never really hurt
Until I learned this
Because when I heard that
I knew what I missed

I should have said hello
Every time you passed by
You really changed
But so did I

So now I sit here and cry
Remembering how things were
It seems like only yesterday
It was me over her

But things change
Some better some worse
As long as you're happy
I can make it work
