How time flies.
Isn’t it strange
How something can change
As the clock of life
Silently
Tick-tocks away.
Something gone
That once did come;
You can only grow old
If you once
Were young.
You can’t touch time
Or make it stop
Go faster
Or rewind;
Each second
Different from the next
Counting down
Days and nights.
Tick-tock,
Tick-tock,
Says the clock.
I will not stop,
Tick-tock
