As Quick As His Kiss Poem by medhini chandran

As Quick As His Kiss

Planting a quick kiss,
when she was alone, on her cheeks,
he ran, not looking back,
soon he went out of sight.

He is senior to her,
in the same college;
His eyes met her eyes,
in silence, daily, thereafter, three or four times,

She wants to react,
she is not arrogant, though, but couldn’t;
They continued to meet from far,
without uttering a word.

After the final exam,
he proposed to her, as quick as his kiss,
discussed with parents,
in the vacation, their meeting gave way to wedlock.
