When leaves murmur intimacies
Budding flowers grow unduly curious
Fondly caressing their own fancies
Seeking benediction from far-off skies
Children sprightly and butterflies fluttering
Vie with one another in their passion
To enjoy the scent and sweetness perennial
Devotees pluck them and offer them to deities venerable
Young girls lovely launch contest keen in loveliness
Which they love to conceal, yet comes to the fore
Rivalry builds up, as Spring blossoms forth
And humans are gods and goddesses up above the Olympus
Or amorous divinities aspiring for a fulfilled Brindavan
