As The Rain Falls Poem by Stephen Johanns

As The Rain Falls

Rating: 5.0

As these raindrops fall,
I sit and write.
About this and that,
About him or her.

I sit and write,
About how I feel
And what I see.
The rain keeps falling.

Jumbled thoughts find refuge
On this paper,
Immortalized in this ink.
Still the rain falls.

I try to relieve the pain,
Expunge it from my soul
With these words on this paper
So that the rain will Stop.
