As Time Wastes Away
As time wastes away.
People are supposed
To get paid,
But never do.
There is an amount
On the screen,
But money never comes.
They never get sent new work.
Just the same ones.
That they can't do.
As time wastes away.
Will they ever get paid?
Hopefully one day
They will.
As they wait.
The time wastes away.
