Ascending The Mount Hira Poem by Mohammad Younus

Ascending The Mount Hira

Ascending the mount Hira;
Divinenlight, boundless,
Spills in tunes of divine music;
Divine light turns my desire's battleground,
Into paradise of divine presence;
Divine light falls on me because I am,
Favourite in divine eyes;
Divine light makes man realise,
The distance between divine and human,
In reality is the distance between
the sun and it's light;
Divine light and music yield an ecstasy
of Eid sighting;
My tongue glorifies the supreme lord,
At Eid moon sighting;
I pen a poem on Divine light,
When the musical breeze from Paradise,
Touches my soul's ear.
