Because I'm not ashamed to say I need you.
You're my hope.
You're my light.
You're my soul.
And I truly don't know how I could live without you.
I've never been closer to anyone than you.
But I've also never been farther away.
But I know someday,
The miles will lessen.
And we'll be as close in body
As we are in heart.
And I'll pray I'll never lose you.
Because even though I've been faced
With losing those I love,
I believe I could go on living
As long as I could hold onto you.
But if you were ever taken from me
I don't know what could save me.
So I'll never be afraid to scream I love you.
And I'll never be ashamed to say I need you.
