An incessant buzzing in my head
A thunderous pulsating drone
Sounds of dreadful wrath
One sent upon my knowing conscious
A defying feat I’ll gladly take on
And a worthy punishment
For such beauty beyond touch
A painful thrumming in my heart
Etching and etching my tragic fate
Against empty walls of hope
A dazzle, a sparkle, a dream
Flashing past my dried out eyes
Reviving in me what was stolen
My very essence or my very curse
A tyrant, a torment
A slithering malice, vividly felt
Seething amongst the darkness of shadow
Revelling in fury till blinded
By the embers of a charred heart
That burned in flames of devouring hate
Gone forever, like ashes to the wind.
