Assess And Acquiesce Poem by shimon weinroth

Assess And Acquiesce

Are you aware
That I have lost
Some of my hair
And the use of

Some other parts
Put into disuse
Perhaps by abuse
Or the fate of old,

No longer bold
I take pills for these ills
When I bemoan
The state of no affairs

My old peers
Too old for jeers and cheers
Bid me sit
And join the club
