Assumption Notice Poem by Karabo Ramasodi

Assumption Notice

Take a look at that smile, it sure is picture perfect
With the posture to boot, it boasts immense confidence
Oozing with joy, a daily celebration, an observer in awe, may not hide their admiration
Well spoken,
Mysterious,
Some may say hilarious
Unknowing to all, thats its all fictious

Things unspoken,
Restricted action
A self proclaimed art of false expression,
Though no lies told,
Its open communication
Diverting personal questions may be considered a mastered proffession

'What you see is what you get'
Believe that completely, and you'll find yourself mislead
'Ask no questions, hear no lies'
Honesty may be promised, its your assumptions that ought to spark fears

Observe from a safe distance,
For safety is not guaranteed to any, and all trespassers.
