Astonished —how Have These Bees Poem by Mohammad Younus

Astonished —how Have These Bees

Astonished—how have these bees,
stingless and unseen, found their way,
into the quiet chambers of my home?

From the depths of my being, they rise,
a symphony of whispers, a hum
so sweet it might be the breath of the soul itself.

Their wings, too delicate for sight,
weave a tapestry of sound—
a hypnotic melody lingering
in the hollows of my heart.

Golden light, distilled from the sun,
spills—liquid amber—through the air.

It clings to the breeze,
dripping in honeyed droplets,
each one a note in their eternal song.

Ecstasy thrums in their ancient flight,
a dance predating memory.

Lullabies spiral in silken threads,
soft as twilight, warm as a mother's touch.

The unseen bees, guardians of harmony,
hum the music of the divine—
a secret hymn only the soul can hear.

Their sacred song, a river of sound,
flows through the corridors of my soul,
carving light into the dark.

Reverence swells in their chorus,
honeyed notes melting into unity—
sweet as devotion, pure as truth.

They weave all who listen with love,
a golden thread stitching the fabric of existence.

How do they keep this rhythm so perfect,
woven into the hive of me, of all that exists?

No voice can unravel their mystery,
no mind can trace their path.

Yet still, their song takes precedence—
a hymn to life, to timeless being,
forever sung, forever known.

It is the pulse beneath the skin of the world,
the heartbeat of the infinite,
the echo of creation itself.

And I, a vessel, a hollow reed,
am filled with their music,
overflowing with the nectar of their truth.

They are the unseen, the eternal,
the keepers of the golden thread—
and I am but a listener to their endless song.
