At Dawn Or A Bit More Poem by Tina Baaklini

At Dawn Or A Bit More

My love,

I greet your sweet tender heart
That cares for me as his own
Whether we're close or apart
Your love dwells beyond my bones

I will carry the divine flame of our love
That burns ocean deep in my heart
To the aspen gardens of heaven above
Where real soulmates never part

Let's meet today at the shore
Let's meet at dawn or a bit more
I must pay a visit to the waves
Can't wait to hear their tales

They whisper to me how they sailed
Over sunken sleeping cities
Counting the days and nights
Crossing thousands of miles
Just to embrace for a while
The shore, their only love
