At Dusk The Tree-Boughs Welcome Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

At Dusk The Tree-Boughs Welcome

At dusk
The tree-boughs welcome back their
Nocturnal inhabitants
Though tired the feel of feet
Friendly and usual on them
Sits:
Dispels slow, slow the tiredness
Accumulated in drear of day
To warmth nocturnal and the
Chorus lay of their inhabitants, reciprocal.
