At The Drop Of A Dime...By Talile Ali - Poem by Talile Ali

AT THE DROP OF A DIME

WHAT ELSE CAN A POOR SOUL DO
I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO STAY
AND DANCE WITH YOU IN THE MOONLIGHT
EVERY NIGHT INTO THE DAY

IT'S AMAZING HOW WE EACH START
TO KNOW EACH OTHER'S GIFT
SEE THEM VANISH IN THE MOMENTS
WHENEVER WE JUST NEED A LIFT

LOSING IT AT THE DROP OF A DIME

SHE'S MY BROTHER, SHE'S MY FRIEND
I WILL LOVE HER TILL THE END
WITH HER EVERYTHING'S SO RIGHT
SEE HER DANCING IN THE
MOONLIGHT

FAIRIES ENTWINED IN HER HAIR
AS SHE SPINS WITH SUCH AFFAIR
IT'S AMAZING, THING'S SO RIGHT
DANCING FRANTICALLY IN
THE TWILIGHT

BEATING AWAY WITH HER AIR DRUMS
AS SHE SPINS INSIDE HER HUM
ROCKIN WELL INTO THE NIGHT
SEE HER DANCE
REBEL IN THE MOONLIGHT

IN THE MOONLIGHT
AT THE DROP OF A DIME
