Ode To Ellen Degeneres Poem by Talile Ali

Ode To Ellen Degeneres

Ellen, Ellen, Ellen,
What else can I say'
I see you helpin out folks
Every time I go your way

You bring attention to them
And what life's twists can do
Ellen, Ellen, Ellen,
I must say I like you

From tornado damage to flooding
From cancer to plain pain
If you know somethin about it
You lend these folks your name

And all of the assistance
From cash to things to food
Ellen, Ellen, Ellen,
You can stop being good

So I like my Ellen thats a fact
She helps the poor and helpless, that is that
It's not enough that she gets you with her jokes
There's somethin in her that likes helping folks

I thank you for the laughter
I thank you for the tears
I than you for the loving
Because you're such a dear

When the universe decided
To send you out this way
I'm happy that inside you
It made things so OK

Ellen DeGeneres
Ellen's the one
Giving her heart and soul
Out to everyone

Ellen the triumphant
Ellen's my queen
Thank you Ellen DeGeneres
For making our heart's sing
