At The End Of The Fairy Realm Poem by Justin Gildow

At The End Of The Fairy Realm

At the end of the Fairy Realm
I see my life beyond the enchanted
gates
My life in the real world

Mythical beings gather with me
Some give me gifts
Some give me words to remember
Some give me their friendships
Telling me it's mine for all time
If I want it

I see my life outside the enchanted
gates
And I know I must go
However, goodbye doesn't have to
last forever
It doesn't have to last forever
to you all

One day in time
I'll return
I'll be back to this place
So don't you all forget me
I'll be back to this place
Remember my words
And remember my face
