RIC BASTASA

At The Forest - Poem by RIC BASTASA

you just shot
a robust deer
and you are
happy taking
it on your shoulder
something for
dinner....

and you walk away
behind your backs

a little deer is looking,

oh, a mother is taken
and the son
is weeping!
