At The Louvres Poem by Alexandre Nodopaka

At The Louvres

I overheard Venus de Milo
whisper,
Of what use is my beauty
if I can't hold onto you.

Glancing back thinking
she was speaking to me
I turned on my heels
and put my arms around her.
