At The Window Poem by Raj Arumugam

At The Window

Rating: 3.5

A window offers
enough of the world
in one's quiet and solitude

One needs to be away
from the clamorous world
and the window provides solace enough

The window allows in
light and colour
and the golden embrace of autumn;
one only has to look
and the framed world smiles

The door keeps out the loud
and those capable only of chatter
while the window opens
necessary communion
