Athens Poem by Sotirios Skoufis

Athens

You'll find your love
in my streets
You'll let yourself go
in my air

You'll break up your chains
in my smell
You'll feel desire
in my womb

You'll go swim
in my sea
I am a goddess
Athena

My skills are so many
I'll teach you so much
are you ready?
starting to watch?

I'll just name a few
wisdom and courage
is this enough?
Inspiration? Civilization?

I'll spare you the rest.
If I would ask you
you'd pass the test?
