Attachments. - Poem by Deona Skidmore

I’ve got this -
From me to you

I’ve got this –
Which I cannot undo

So, it’s been 48 hours
Since I looked in to your eyes
It’s been 2880 minutes
Since you said goodbye

It’s been 172 880 seconds
And I’ve got someone new
It’s been 48 hours
and he isn’t you

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Temper tantrums, and all the times you made me cry
Fights, lust and broken phones
I’m always here

You want to be alone.
