Atten-Shun Poem by johnoe mc guckin

Atten-Shun

Atten-shun at ease
atten-shun
you're caught unawares
didn't pay attention
Stood down, at rest
let the fat cats feed you titbits
Whilst you lingered at their table
Of opulence.
Atten-shun
We, the C.E.O'S of the world
own you, body, and soul
We 'arranged' allowed
All of you to kick an own goal
Now we are telling you
do as you are told
We're sweeping aside the mess
You have made of your lives
At ease
Nothing better than having the
Righteous
Believe they are in the wrong
And we mighty few who caused
this st crispin day
shall step forwards, and do as we do
Take, Take, Take
No welfare state
Why not, you plead
Atten-shun
We need it for our handouts
Give to our needy patrons
Stand down you've been told
We are your C.E.O'S
OF THIS WORLD
ATTEN-SHUN
