Poem by James Grengs

This writing, my mark upon the world.
I am faceless, a name against the backdrop
Of a busy world.
With this, my creation, I say,
'I am here.' I say,
'I am.'
You need no other mark,
No autograph,
No face to match my name.
For with this, my mark,
I say that I am,
And say who I am.
