Autumnal - Poem by Richie Dwyer

Golden air on golden hair
That returns to me this autumn fair
After this eternity bereft of sense
In self doubt wallowing in pious regret
And only the blackbird knows the love song
That died reborn in this falls return
Shimmering glimmering in tingling respite
Seasons turn to lovers delight
