Autumnal Poem by Andrew Quin

Autumnal

Rating: 4.5

Her Eyes are like the drops of dew
That Swollen lie upon the leaf;
And like my love will soon renew
The tender roots that run beneath.

And yet, I cannot bear to spy
Those gentle depths;
They hold her in such silences,
Such thoughtful voids of quiet space.
