Autumnglow Poem by Ruerd Visser

Autumnglow

In aprecciation for the autumn one of my favorite seasons.

Relishing the autumnglow,
i happily enjoy the wind playing
with falling leaves towards the earth
who fed them.
I walk amongst trees and are blessed
with the invigorating smell of leaves
as i stumble upon mushrooms that dare
to show their face.
A harvest and a feast is upon us as we
enjoy the fruits of our labour.
Contemplating one last outburst of the
sun with all its brilliance before she turns pale again.
We say goodbye one more time taking with us
the memories of this summer.
And thank for all memorable things we were able
to participate in.
