The Autumn Of My Life - Poem by Ruerd Visser

Like a leaf i follow my path.
To be moved by the wind,
towards tomorrow.
Where the earth gently
receives me to be digested.

I thought it was a light-hearted poem... where you see yourself as one of them beings that live and die and nothing beyond... (Report) Reply

A very dark poem...some leaves are surely moved by winds...and some are taken care by the Lord...Hope you move like a wind and not like a leaf which waits for the zealous wind to move it further...well wishes
