Avening House Again Poem by Claire Galpin

Avening House Again

I am a very big house
A very big house I am,
Girls and boys go in and out,
Girls have records on all night,
It sometimes gives me a fright,
Except on Sunday night,
When all is very quiet.

The floors are creaky,
The beds are squeaky,
The girls and boys are very noisy.
We all make a noise from time to time,
I make a lot of noise,
For I am the biggest of all,
So I make a lot of noise.
