Azadi Drama/ Politics/ Disruptive Forces/ Curfew Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Azadi Drama/ Politics/ Disruptive Forces/ Curfew

Azadi Drama

Azadi absurd drama,
Who the manager,
The script-writer,
The director,
The dramatic personae
And musicians of it?

Politics

Politics
Which but the politicians
Know it well
As for
How to do it
Juggling the ball,
Changing the coat?

Disruptive Forces

Many people
Know it not
How to live in peace,
Amity and communal harmony?

Curfew

When curfew is imposed upon,
Prohibitory orders issued,
The roads take a different look
Lonely and deserted
And the police on patrol
Standing guard of,
Taking a stock of the situation
And the residents looking desperately
Through shut windows and doors.
