Back A Mile Poem by Hillary Unknown

Back A Mile

I feel the rain hit my face
As it mingles with my tears
It trys to erase any trace
That they were ever here
It wants to erase all my fears
But I don't think I'll ever hear

Chorus:
You're sweet soft voice again
Nor see your lovely smile
I won't feel your arms again
Cuz you have been gone a long long while
No matter how many steps I take
I always move back a mile

I close my eyes and dream
As I takes me back to you
But I wake up with a scream
When j find out that it wasn't true
And I don't know what to do
It reminded me that I won't hear

Chorus:
You're sweet soft voice again
Nor see your lovely smile
I won't feel your arms again
Cuz you have been gone a long long while
No matter how many steps I take
I always move back a mile
