The Real You Poem by Hillary Unknown

The Real You

Fun
Bubbly
Spirited
Sad
Depressed
Unforgiven
You feel all these things
On the outside you’re happy
On the inside it’s a different story
You feel and portray opposites
It’s hard to remember who you are
When there’s so many things that are fake
Who are you?

When others try to tell us to be who they want us to be, we get mixed up and confused, because we know we are one person, while others are telling us to be someone else. People should be allowed to be who they are regardless of what others may think, say, or do. This poem touches the heart and melts into the soul, because it is so true for a lot of us. I rate this a perfect 10, and thank you for sharing. WRITE ON! ! ! ! ! Love & hugs, Barbara
