Back In Time Poem by Mamie Free

Back In Time

Let go back in time.
When everything was so perfect.
Walking on tipping toes,
We had that tide that was unbreakable.
No matter how complicated life gets, we
Grew bigger everyday.

Now separated by distance, I dare not cry.
Though I sobbed. In time, we will be together
And get better in time. Just yesterday, I
Saw your face, and today only your voice,
I can hear on the phone.

I take courage and smile, when I see you
Smile back at me, through those written
Pages.
Now it’s time to wait for time to be,
Back in time.
