~~~~ Untitled poem ~~~~
You find yourself roaming alone
next Hill you climb
you hope You're able to spot Home
yes been a while since you've
come around
in some way, that may have been best
in another, I'd say, it was like a Test
and at any point it's anyone's Guess, ,
Best you've ever had it, Best you've ever known
were those long perilous journeys away from, ,
that evil house you once called
your Home
Now the Promise you made to return
after the Falcons and the Vultures have burned
Has brought you steps within sight
of the only place that's ever caused you fright, , ,
A lone Wolf, bound to roam
wandering beyond boundaries
seldom seen, ,
some unknown
Lone Wolf, back to your Den you Come
but before you enter, , may want to wait
on the Morn's rise of the Sun
Lazy rolling stream, cool clear water
taste mighty fine this hot day, ,
and in last nights Dream, , In Shadow
stood the Daughter, ,
Just for a moment as she turned
to stroll away, ,
Buried in the Ashes of a Past
that you can't deny
every Trial passes
and angers you,
as it all passes
before your tear stained eye, , ,
Sleep comes quickly,
in this Meadow Green,
with Oaks to protect you
from the Hunters
here in the shadows, , ,
you'll never be seen, , ,
and as you wake, ,
Glints of sunbeams dancing
finds you in a state, almost
ready to break, ,
Ah be Mindful, ,
the only ghost are those
within your head
and be ever aware, ,
it can't ever bite you
when for years, ,
it's been long Dead
and so, moving forward
toward that home of youth
you begin to wonder, ,
could it be, is this the day,
I finally learn the Truth, ,
Every Road a Beginning
every Trial must have an end
every day
we're on our way to somewhere
sure would be nice this day
to end this Trial with a Friend, , ,
one for support, one with love
one who truly has Care, , ,
I guess I may as well step in
try a little harder, to be that
One Wolf, you can call that Friend, , ,
