Back To The Northern Lights Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Back To The Northern Lights

How is life today down in the valley
Is there still a little bridge across the stream?
Does the scent of new-mown hay still
Fill the country air, and is the one I loved
Still living there?

If you perchance to see him passing by
Tell him I think about him every hour,
And with great speed I'll travel through
The night...to greet him soon, with joy
And sheer delight.
