Back To Where We Started Poem by George Samuel

Back To Where We Started

Make me sad today,
You'll become sad some day,
Life takes different turns,
Till we reach same spot with burns,
We can only escape but not run.

Many times you try to break my heart,
And you claim you fry emotions like that,
But it's fun when you're not the one,
Who bears the pain alone,
To only share the gains as they come.

We've been joined together,
You've become so skilled just to scatter,
Because you're not a builder,
Does not mean you'll remain a beholder,
Time's changed, mind you'll soon get older.

Children would come if you wait,
Wealth would vanish away,
Put yourself together, this thing of love is meant for two,
Why share it with neighbours in town,
And give your diamond ring to clown.
